Everything I said yesterday, Verlander did. Wow. This tweet is vulgar, so I'm warning you now. OK!?
Ultimately we may not remember Verlander's ALDS start because...
1. He owns Oakland in the postseason. Wikipedia said so.
2. It happened in the LDS. Name another historic LDS start. ****What a dummy, how'd I forget Halladay's 2010 no hitter against the Reds.
3. He's going to keep doing this through October.
With that said, whole e sheet.
That start was right there, with me, with...Morris going 10 in '91, Matt Cain's '10 postseason, Schilling's sock, rookie Adam Wainwright saving '06 for the Cards, Hamels in '08 (this is more personal than something stupendous), Schilling/Johnson combo in '01, and though it's memorable for its infamy, Livan Hernandez asst. from Eric Gregg in '97.
I know. Seems like A LOT of memories. But I love baseball.
