Ogletree was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday after only lasting four games with his new franchise. The five year veteran's best year came last season with the Dallas Cowboys. Ogletree caught 32 passes for 436 yards and 4 touchdowns.
After losing veteran Nate Burleson to a broken arm, the Lions had a big need for a new secondary option on offense. The Lions also have been without Patrick Edwards who's been nursing a high ankle sprain.
