A Minnesota high school hockey game had an unusual moment Tuesday when after riding the bench all year a goal tender, Austin Krause, scores a goal on his own team, flips off the coach, gives a salutes and leaves the ice.
Extremely disgruntled because of lack of play time, he reportedly had been talking about quitting all season and when the main goalie was out injured he used the time on the ice to tie the game.
His team lost after Chaska High School was able to score a power play goal and give the school a 3-2 win.
Quick follow up: the goalie has been reportedly suspended from school for 10 days.
